It’s time to tee off!

Moama Anglican Grammar has recently received a grant to become one of the first pilot schools for golf.

We have been running lessons on golf in our PDHPE classes around the school, from Years 1 all the way up to Year 11.

As part of the course Year 9 and 10 PASS students organised and ran a lunchtime golf session for Secondary Students, which was a great success, they set up a driving range where students attempted to land their ball closest to the pin. There was a a challenging putting course and we even had a moving human target!

Starting next week Thursdays from 3:10pm a bus will be available for transport to the Rich River Golf Course for free lessons taught by the Rich River Pros. The session will finish at 5:00pm. Students from Years 1-12 are able to take part in these lessons, parents are also welcome to come and join in. Students are encouraged to come and participate in this fun and enjoyable way to improve your skills.
