Middle School (Years 5 - 8)
YEARS 5 - 6
We believe our Years 5 - 6 students have a wonderful advantage at Moama Anglican Grammar School. They are based in their General Purpose Classroom (as in a regular primary setting), but have access to specialist teachers and facilities for Science, Art, Physical Education, Italian and cooking in our Food Technology Precinct. In addition, their transition from Primary to Secondary education is recognised at the annual Year 6 Celebration Dinner, but they are spared the trauma of adapting to a "big" school as they enter Year 7.

YEARS 7 - 8
These years are considered important experiential and formative years, during which students are given the opportunity to study courses from a diverse range of subject areas.
While much of what is studied during this stage of education is mandated by the New South Wales Board of Studies, the School believes that students need to ensure that they have mastered the foundation skills upon which later studies will rely.
This diverse range of courses fulfils the needs of the majority of students; however, those who need extension beyond the outcomes set down for ‘Stage Four’ (traditionally completed during Years 7 & 8) will be offered the opportunity to complete work that is suitably challenging.
The School does offer specific remedial classes within the current timetable for selected students in Years 7 and 8.
