Lest We Forget

Over the past few weeks the Resource Centre has been displaying historical artifacts in the lead up for Remembrance Day. Students have had the opportunity to create poppies and learn about the life of World War 1 soldiers. Today we marked Remembrance Day with a ceremony where students laid flower wreaths at the base of the flagpole. Our ceremony was led by our student leaders with performances from Darcy Nelson playing the The Last Post and The Rouse, and Amelia Lannen and Becky Pridham with Coming Home. Thank you to Father Tink from Moama who gave the commemorative address, and thanks also to the Parents/Guardians who attended.
