Alyssa Hunter in Year 10 has made it through to the first round of the 2016 Australian and New Zealand Brain Bee Competition. Alyssa was required to study a challenging booklet about neuroscience and successfully complete the online test. The top scoring students from across NSW are then invited to attend the state finals in Sydney with the winner going through to compete and Nationals with an Australian representative to attend the International Challenge. Alyssa is now preparing for the second round held in Sydney on Monday 22 August, further developing her understanding of neuroscience. Congratulations to Alyssa on her efforts and we eagerly await the results of her second competition.
