SCHOLARSHIPS AND BURSARIES

Scholarship applications for 2022 are now closed.

ACADEMIC SCHOLARSHIPS 2023

Scholarship applications for 2023 will open later in the year for current students and for students not yet attending Moama Anglican Grammar. Academic scholarships are available for entry to Year 5 – 11.

Moama Anglican Grammar scholarship examinations are conducted by EduTest Australia. Registration and payment for Academic Scholarship applications can only be made online.

Academic Scholarships provide for up to 75% remission of the tuition fee. All other fees are payable.

Scholarships at Year 5 are awarded for two years.  Scholarships at other levels may be awarded for two years or for the duration of secondary education, subject to the student making satisfactory progress.

GENERAL EXCELLENCE SCHOLARSHIPS 2023

General Excellence Scholarships are offered for entry to the secondary section of the school (Years 7-11 in 2023).

Students currently attending Moama Anglican Grammar and students not yet attending the school may apply for Years 7 – 11 General Excellence Scholarships.

General Excellence Scholarships provide for up to 50% remission of the tuition fee.  All other fees are payable.

Applications will be shortlisted on the basis of their written application, supported by references.
Copies of latest school reports and NAPLAN testing must also be included. Evidence of the potential for strong academic performance is required, along with a demonstrated commitment to Moama Anglican Grammar’s Core Values of Compassion, Respect and Integrity.
Shortlisted applications will be invited to attend an interview with the selection panel.

Students who have lodged an application for an Academic Scholarship and paid the registration fee, will not incur a further charge for the General Excellence Scholarship application. Students who have not lodged an Academic Scholarship Application will be charged an $90 (incl. GST) fee with the scholarship application.

MUSIC/PERFORMING ARTS SCHOLARSHIP 2023

Music / Performing Arts Scholarships are offered for students in Years 5-11 in 2023.

Students currently attending Moama Anglican Grammar and students not yet attending the school may apply for Years 5 – 11 Music / Performing Arts Scholarships. Scholarships at Year 5 are awarded for two years.  Scholarships at other levels may be awarded for two years or for the duration of secondary education, subject to the student making satisfactory progress.

Music / Performing Arts Scholarships provide for up to 50% remission of the tuition fee.  All other fees are payable.

Applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of their written application, supported by references.  Copies of latest school reports and NAPLAN testing must also be included. Academic levels and achievements of students are considered but are not the predominant criteria for selection.  Selection is based on music / performing arts aptitude and achievements, and demonstrated commitment to Moama Anglican Grammar’s Core Values of Compassion, Respect and Integrity. Shortlisted applicants will then be invited to attend an interview with the selection panel.

Students who have lodged an application for an Academic Scholarship with Edutest and paid the registration fee, will not incur a further charge for the Music / Music/Performing Arts Scholarship application.  Students who have not lodged an Academic Scholarship Application will be charged an $90 (incl. GST) fee with the scholarship application.

BURSARIES

With the establishment of a Bursary Fund our School can offer a Bursary enrolment for students experiencing financial hardship to either commence or continue studying at Moama Anglican Grammar.
