Pastoral Care

At Moama Anglican Grammar we provide a place where students, teachers and families work and learn together in a safe, secure and happy environment, The School’s mission is to care for our students and their families and to prepare our students for the next phase of their lives, enabling them to move forward with hope and confidence.

The Pastoral Care we provide our students is based on a deep respect for the dignity and uniqueness of the individual person as we are all made in the image of God (Genesis 1:27). Our approach to Pastoral Care complements our School’s Core Values. Therefore, the School adopts a relational and restorative approach to the day-to-day management of student behaviours that focuses on, when things go wrong, helping students to make things right again.

The School recognises that the wellbeing of our students is integral for effective teaching  and learning to occur. The School has a caring staff including specialist counsellors at both primary and secondary levels to assist students in the learning journey.
